Laura Jo has a depth of experience from 18 years of integrated land use planning and urban regeneration roles in both the UK and Australian public and private sectors. This has enabled her to build up considerable understanding of the need to balance development and growth with the timely delivery of critical infrastructure.
Laura Jo joined Melton City Council in 2012 and plays a significant role in facilitating the delivery of a number of strategic planning and infrastructure projects, including the recently completed Cobblebank Train Station. As Manager City Design, Strategy & Environment, Laura-Jo is responsible for leading the development of the land use policy framework, including the Integrated Transport Strategy, to guide the future growth and development of an LGA that will see its population growth to over 400,000 residents over the next 20-30 years.
