Reid is the current Chief Executive Officer of the Rail Freight Alliance, a membership-based organisation representing Rural, Regional and Metropolitan Municipalities across Victoria. The primary focus of the organisation is to increase investment into the Rail Network.

Reid has been involved in transport for many years and brings a unique skill set to the organisation. He has a sound understanding of the Local, State and Federal systems and have extensive networks across all levels of government.

Reid has been involved stakeholder management over most of his working life and understands the importance of maintaining good relationships with members, sponsors, members of parliament and stakeholders.
